Sapienza Career Service
The Career Service at Sapienza University supports students and graduates during the crucial transition from university to the job market, offering a wide range of services, including:
Career support is provided through dedicated activities organized by the Career Service itself, by Faculties or other university structures, or in collaboration with companies, public or private institutions, and professional associations.
Career orientation activities may include seminars, workshops, and thematic events focused on career planning, transferable skills, and career management skills (e.g., soft skills, CV writing, active job search strategies, video resumes, social media use, Employability Labs, etc.).
To facilitate encounters between students/graduates and companies or institutions, the following are regularly organized:
Recruiting Days, Career Days, Testimonial Days, Company Presentations, Company Visits, Assessment Sessions, Business Games, Mentoring Programs, and other placement-related initiatives, including those involving Alumni and corporate mentoring programs. These events may take place either online or in person and are aimed at identifying the most suitable profiles for the job opportunities offered by companies.
Additional workshops, seminars, and thematic events related to placement are also available (e.g., innovation, start-ups, business incubation, professional focus sessions, Innovation Camps, etc.).

Course-specific Initiatives – Applied Computer Science and AI
Each year, the Department of Computer Science organizes the ITMeetings: structured encounters between companies operating in the IT sector and students and graduates of the Applied Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence degree programs.
The ITMeetings are held twice a year—typically in June and December, close to the graduation sessions. These events welcome companies that either produce or heavily rely on IT solutions, active at the local, national, or international level.
During the meetings, participating companies present their business activities and introduce various collaboration opportunities, such as job offers, internships for Bachelor’s students, and thesis projects. Each edition includes a round table focused on current topics in the field of computer science, where companies share experiences and projects, encouraging a dynamic exchange with students and faculty on relevant educational and professional themes.
The day also features speed-date interviews—short, one-on-one meetings between company representatives and registered participants. These are valuable opportunities for direct contact, where companies can meet potential candidates and collect CVs. On average, each edition hosts around fifty individual interviews.
