Career Service
The Sapienza Career Service supports students, graduates, and alumni during the transition from university to the labour market by offering a range of services, including:

Career guidance activities are implemented through initiatives organised by the Career Service and/or Faculties and other University structures, often in collaboration with companies, public and private organisations, and professional associations.
These activities include seminars, workshops, and thematic events on career orientation, transversal skills, and career management skills (e.g. soft skills, CV writing, job search strategies, video CVs, professional social networks, Employability Labs, etc.).
To facilitate interaction with companies and organisations, the University organises Recruiting Days, Career Days, Testimonial Days, company presentations, company visits, assessment activities, business games, mentoring programmes, and other placement-related initiatives, including those involving alumni networks and corporate mentorship schemes. These events may take place either online or in person and aim to identify profiles suited to the professional opportunities offered by employers.
Additional seminars, workshops, and thematic events are also offered to students, graduates, and alumni on topics such as innovation, start-ups, business incubation, career pathways, Innovation Camps, and similar initiatives.
Students, graduates, and alumni can also access the JobTeaser Sapienza platform in order to:

Degree Programme Activities
Each year, the Department of Computer Science organises ITMeetings, structured events bringing together companies operating in the ICT sector and students, graduates, and alumni of the Applied Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence degree programme.
ITMeetings are held twice a year, usually in December and June, close to graduation sessions. These events host companies that develop or extensively use software solutions at local, national, or international level.
During the meetings, companies present their activities and outline collaboration opportunities, including job offers, internships for Bachelor’s students, and thesis projects. Each event also includes a round table discussion on current topics in Computer Science, providing a forum for companies, students, and academic staff to exchange ideas and share experiences on relevant professional and educational issues.
The programme also includes speed-dating sessions, i.e. short one-to-one interviews between company representatives and registered participants. These sessions provide an important opportunity for direct contact, allowing companies to meet potential candidates and collect CVs. On average, each edition hosts around fifty individual interviews.
