The Faculty of Information Engineering, Computer Science and Statistics of Sapienza University of Rome has issued a call for applications for the award of 12 scholarships, each worth €2,500 (gross of applicable taxes), funded by Birra Peroni S.r.l. as part of the BeHer initiative, aimed at promoting gender equality.
Eligibility
The scholarships are intended for outstanding female students enrolled in the academic year 2025/2026 in the Faculty of Information Engineering, Computer Science and Statistics, in the following degree programmes:
Bachelor’s degree programmes: Computer Science (1 scholarship); Computer Science – primarily distance learning (1 scholarship); Information Engineering (Latina campus) (1 scholarship); Computer and Control Engineering (2 scholarships); Electronic Engineering (2 scholarships).
Master’s degree programmes: Cybersecurity (1 scholarship); Engineering in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence – Computer Engineering (1 scholarship); Control Engineering (2 scholarships); Computer Science (1 scholarship); Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (1 scholarship).
Application procedure
Deadline for applications: May 2, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
Applications must be submitted exclusively via certified email (PEC) to:

using the institutional email account (@studenti.uniroma1.it).
Applications must be drafted on plain paper in accordance with the template attached to the call (Annex 1) and must include: Infostud student ID number; full name; institutional email address; tax identification code; phone number; degree programme in which the applicant is enrolled for the academic year 2025/2026; declarations required under Article 4 of the call; copy of a valid identity document.
All documentation must be submitted as a single PDF file with a maximum size of 2 MB.
Evaluation and ranking
Applications will be assessed by an Evaluation Committee, which will draw up a merit-based ranking based on the weighted average grade and the number of credits earned relative to the total required.
In the event of a tie, preference will be given to younger candidates.

Scholarship award
Selected candidates will be contacted via their institutional email to accept the scholarship and provide the necessary details for payment. The scholarship will be paid in a single instalment within 60 days from the submission of the required information.

Complete all sections of the form and ask the lecturer with whom you took the exam to sign it.
After the lecturer signs it, send it to our office no later than a few days after the exam date.
We will affix the Department stamp to confirm its validity.

CYBERSECURITY
The annual exam schedule is now available.
Second-semester courses for the 2024–25 academic year will remain assigned to the respective instructors until the end of April.
Detailed schedules will be published after classroom assignments are confirmed.
Instructors can already open exam sessions on Infostud.
